A dedicated server with AMD EPYC 7543P all to itself

The processor, memory, and two NVMe drives are assigned to one account,
so computing power, RAM, and disk I/O are not shared with other accounts.

A dedicated server for monthly rental

CloudDDR rents full AMD EPYC 7543P servers by the month. Each server is assigned to one account, with the processor, memory, and both NVMe drives reserved for that account—not shared with others.

The rental includes a complete server, not a portion of a host's computing resources. The account manages OS installation, service deployment, storage layout, and backups; CloudDDR manages the hardware and network. Ideal for workloads that need dedicated resources, long-running applications, or a self-managed virtualization host.

Hardware specifications

Both configurations use the same processor and standard storage layout; only the memory capacity differs. The single-socket Zen 3 processor provides 32 cores, 64 threads, and 256MB of L3 cache.

AMD-V (SVM) and NPT provide hardware support for virtualization workloads. Memory is DDR4-3200 ECC RDIMM. The drives are connected individually, so data, logs, or virtual machine disks can be organized separately; no hardware array is preconfigured.

Memory capacity

128GB and 256GB server configurations

Both configurations use DDR4-3200 ECC RDIMM. Memory capacity is fixed for each configuration and cannot be upgraded after provisioning. To switch capacity, order a server in the other configuration.

Plan for memory used by the OS, applications, caches, and virtualization overhead. Database caches and virtual machine allocations all count toward total server memory, so choose a configuration based on expected usage, not only current application consumption.

Storage layout

Two directly connected NVMe drives, no hardware RAID

The standard configuration includes two 1TB NVMe drives connected individually, for an advertised total capacity of 2TB. This is not a preconfigured 1TB RAID-1 mirror. Filesystem formatting and differences in capacity units affect the available space shown by the OS.

Add up to two more 2TB NVMe drives, also connected individually. Whether to use separate drives or create a mirror depends on recovery requirements. A mirror is not a substitute for off-site backups; accidental deletion or application-level corruption still requires a separate backup.

Monthly server plans

Two configurations, same EPYC 7543P processor

Both include two directly connected 1TB NVMe drives, one IPv4 address, and unmetered 250 Mbps bandwidth. Prices are in whole US dollars.

Memory capacity determines the base monthly price. Add-on drives, bandwidth, extra IP addresses, and Windows licenses can be selected on the configuration page. See the pricing page for full rates and billing calculations; availability is shown in real time in the console.

Workload fit

Four common workload types

Choose a configuration based on compute, memory, storage, and network needs. These examples reflect server specifications, not guarantees of application performance or workload capacity.

Hardware virtualization

Virtualization hosts such as Proxmox

AMD-V (SVM) and NPT provide hardware support, and Proxmox VE 8 / 9 is available as a free preinstall. The 64 threads and two memory configurations help with VM resource planning; reserve capacity for the host OS as well.

Memory and storage

Databases and middleware

Use 128GB or 256GB of ECC memory to plan for caches and working sets. The two NVMe drives can hold data and logs separately. Separate drives do not provide redundancy; arrange backups independently.

See monthly pricing for both memory options →
Dedicated IPs and bandwidth

Cross-border workloads

Each server includes one dedicated IPv4 address, with up to 255 additional addresses available. Unmetered bandwidth is available at 250 Mbps, 1 Gbps, and 2 Gbps. Choose based on peak throughput, not just monthly data transfer.

Monthly OS licensing

Windows workloads

Windows Server Standard and Datacenter 2019 / 2022 / 2025 are licensed monthly and accessed via RDP. Choose the version and language based on application compatibility and licensing needs.

After payment and provisioning, find the login address and credentials in the server details in the console. For servers with multiple IPv4 addresses, connect using the first address in the list.

The account is responsible for OS and application data, including login security, software updates, and backups. See the connection guide for first-time access. For connection or server issues, submit a support ticket through the console or email support@cloudddr.com.

Frequently asked questions

Can memory be upgraded from 128GB to 256GB on the same server?

Memory cannot be upgraded on the existing server. To switch configurations, order a new 256GB server and arrange data migration separately. Account for OS, application processes, caches, and virtualization overhead when choosing a configuration.

Are the two NVMe drives configured in RAID?

There is no hardware RAID. The two 1TB NVMe drives are connected individually, for an advertised total capacity of 2TB. Set up redundancy with software RAID, a ZFS mirror, or off-site backups. Usable space shown by the OS depends on formatting and capacity units.

How is unmetered bandwidth priced?

Pricing is based on port speed, not monthly data transfer. 250 Mbps is included in the monthly server price; 1 Gbps and 2 Gbps are available at an additional cost. Choose one bandwidth tier. See the pricing page for the add-on rates.

How are additional IPv4 addresses priced?

Each server includes one dedicated IPv4 address. Additional addresses are billed individually by the month, up to 255 more, for a total of 256. For servers with multiple addresses, connect using the first address in the list.

Which billing periods are available?

Monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual billing are available. There are no discounts, setup fees, or contracts. Prices are charged in US dollars; available payment methods are listed on the configuration page. Manage subscriptions in the console.
