Billing

How billing works: amount due = monthly total × months

Monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual billing have no discounts, setup fees or contracts.

First calculate the monthly total for the server and selected add-ons, then choose how many months to pay for at once. The billing cycle changes the payment interval, not the price.

What makes up the monthly total

Server monthly price plus selected add-ons

The monthly total is the basis for calculating each billing cycle. Included resources are not charged again, and unselected add-ons are excluded. Full prices for server configurations and add-ons are listed on the pricing page.

Monthly server price

The AMD EPYC 7543P · 128GB configuration is $447/month, and the AMD EPYC 7543P · 256GB configuration is $598/month. Both have 32 cores and 64 threads; the difference is memory capacity.

The server price includes 2×1TB NVMe direct-attached storage, 250 Mbps unmetered bandwidth and 1 dedicated IPv4 address. Exclude these included resources when calculating add-on charges.

Additional storage and bandwidth

Each additional 2TB NVMe drive costs $70/month, with up to 2 drives available. Each drive is directly attached. Storage charges are based on the number of drives selected; hardware RAID is not included.

Choose one bandwidth option: 250 Mbps is included, 1 Gbps adds $244/month, and 2 Gbps adds $740/month. Only the selected bandwidth tier is charged; tier surcharges are not combined.

Additional IPv4 addresses and OS licenses

The default 1 IPv4 address is included in the server price. Each additional address costs $2/month, with up to 255 available. Only additional addresses are charged; the included address is not billed again.

There is no charge for the 14 free operating systems. Windows Server Standard adds $19/month, and Datacenter adds $31/month. Licenses are billed monthly and included in the monthly total for the selected billing cycle.

Check address and OS prices

Calculation: monthly server price + storage charges + bandwidth surcharge + additional IPv4 charges + Windows license charges = monthly total. Free operating systems and included resources have no additional charge.

How cycle charges are calculated

One configuration, with the amount due based on months

This example shows the charges for a fixed configuration; it is not a third server configuration. It uses the 128GB server, 2 Gbps bandwidth and 3 additional IPv4 addresses, with no extra drives and a free operating system.

128GB server $447 Monthly server price
2 Gbps bandwidth + $740 Monthly bandwidth surcharge
3 additional IPv4 addresses + $6 $2/month each × 3
Monthly total = $1193 Multiply by the number of months

Monthly total: $447 + $740 + $6 = $1193/month. With 3 additional addresses and the default address, the configuration has 4 IPv4 addresses in total. This example does not include extra drives or a Windows license.

Monthly amount due

$1193

$1193 × 1 month

Covers 1 month, no discount

Quarterly amount due

$3579

$1193 × 3 months

Covers 3 months, no discount

Semiannual amount due

$7158

$1193 × 6 months

Covers 6 months, no discount

Annual amount due

$14316

$1193 × 12 months

Covers 12 months, no discount

For quarterly, semiannual or annual billing, check the total due for the full billing cycle—not just the monthly amount. If the configuration changes, recalculate the monthly total before multiplying by the number of months. This example does not apply to other configurations.

Four billing cycles

Each cycle sets the covered months and renewal interval

All four billing cycles use the same calculation, with no cycle discounts. Monthly billing covers 1 month, quarterly billing 3 months, semiannual billing 6 months and annual billing 12 months.

Billing cycle length, discounts, amount due and renewal interval
Billing cycle Months covered Cycle discount Amount due Renewal interval
Monthly 1 month None Current monthly total × 1 Renews every 1 month
Quarterly 3 months None Current monthly total × 3 Renews every 3 months
Semiannual 6 months None Current monthly total × 6 Renews every 6 months
Annual 12 months None Current monthly total × 12 Renews every 12 months

No setup fee does not change the monthly pricing for the server or add-ons. No contract means there is no separate contract commitment; it does not mean that a selected billing cycle requires no payment. Turning off renewal does not change the basis for charges in the current cycle.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew at the end of the selected cycle

Renewal charges are calculated as the current monthly total × the number of months in the billing cycle. The same calculation applies to the initial order and subsequent renewals; the server, add-ons and cycle determine the bill.

Check both parts of the calculation

When reviewing a renewal, first confirm the server and memory configuration on the bill, then check that the drives, bandwidth, additional IPv4 addresses and OS license match the current configuration. Next, verify the number of months in the billing cycle so the full-cycle amount is not mistaken for a monthly price.

For example, quarterly billing covers 3 months, so the renewal amount is the current monthly total multiplied by 3. Annual billing covers 12 months, so the renewal amount is the current monthly total multiplied by 12. Billing cycles do not include discounts, and the monthly amount cannot be used as a substitute for the total due for another cycle.

What to check on a renewal

  • Server and order: confirm the subscription being reviewed.
  • Billable items: distinguish included resources from paid add-ons.
  • Months in the cycle: 1, 3, 6 or 12.
  • Bill amount: refer to the current bill shown in the control panel.

Cancel a subscription

Cancellation stops renewal after the current cycle

The cancellation option is on the billing page in the control panel. Cancellation applies to future renewals and does not change the months already covered by the current cycle.

  1. 01

    Open the control panel

Sign in with the account associated with the order and confirm which server and subscription it belongs to. Check each server separately when managing multiple machines to avoid cancelling the wrong subscription.

  2. 02

    Open the billing page

Locate the relevant subscription, review the current cycle and billing records, then use the cancellation option. Make sure to cancel the subscription for which renewal should stop.

  3. 03

    Confirm the cancellation

Check the subscription status shown in the control panel. After cancellation, the subscription will not renew when the current cycle ends. The account holder is responsible for arranging any service migration, data export and backups.

For questions about a bill or cancellation, submit a support ticket through the control panel and include the relevant server, order and billing items. Do not include account passwords or server credentials in a ticket.

Changing configurations

A memory upgrade requires a new server; review bills when add-ons change

The 128GB and 256GB configurations are the two available server options. Memory cannot be upgraded on an existing server after provisioning. A new server order and add-on changes are separate; a new order is not a memory price adjustment on the existing subscription.

Switching memory configurations

Switching configurations requires ordering a new server. The new order amount is calculated from the selected configuration, add-ons and billing cycle. Renewal arrangements for the existing subscription must be reviewed separately in the control panel.

For a service migration, plan data synchronization and the service switchover before deciding whether to cancel the existing subscription. Ordering a new server and cancelling an existing subscription are separate actions and are not automatically linked.

Changes to drives, bandwidth, addresses or licenses

Refer to the bill shown in the control panel when reviewing add-on changes. Include the item changed, its quantity and the relevant server rather than relying on the cycle totals in this example.

This page explains the billing calculation and does not specify prorated charges for changes made during a cycle. To confirm the cost of a specific change, review the actual bill through a control panel support ticket.

Currency and payment

All charges are in USD; view records in the control panel

Prices are shown with the $ symbol and settled in USD. Before paying, check the amount due and available payment options on the configuration page. Payment methods are listed there.

The configuration page is used to select options, review pricing and confirm payment. The control panel is used to view bills and invoice records, manage subscriptions and submit billing tickets. When reviewing records, distinguish the server configuration, cycle amount due and paid bills; the monthly price alone does not show the total for a full billing cycle.

If a bill does not match expectations, include the order, memory configuration, add-on quantities, billing cycle and amount to be checked in the ticket. Refer to the records shown in the control panel. Do not enter payment details or account credentials on public pages.

Check the monthly total for the configuration, then confirm the amount due
